The Name
The name "Bixby" is the name of the street I grew up on, where I had the privilege of knowing a remarkable neighbor. She was a geography professor, Rhoades Scholar, devout nun, and die-hard hockey fan. Her kindness and respect for everyone, including the neighborhood kids, were truly inspiring. She dedicated her life to service, education, and learning, serving as a coach and mentor to many. Her influence played a pivotal role in shaping my journey, inspiring me to pursue a similar path.
Background
With 14 years in K-12 education, including 9 in leadership roles, the best part of my “9-5” comes from building meaningful relationships with students. I guide them as they explore post-secondary options—whether it’s further education, entering the workforce, or military service. Each pathway requires thoughtful planning and preparation, and being part of that journey fuels my passion. Bixby Coaching lets me focus on what I love!
